Restaurant La Pastorale

Without a doubt the best restaurant in the Luberon. Maarten, Jessica and their team have created a relaxed, friendly environment where the emphasis is on using local products, in season, to produce a fine dining experience at sensible prices. Special dietary needs can be catered for if you let them know in advance. English, French, Dutch and Italian is spoken at this restaurant.

This is a popular eating place so book early to avoid disappointment.

The Sunday Market at Reillanne

The Reillanne market follows the grand tradition of French markets but with a more relaxed, personal feeling. Here you can get the best of local, in season produce, cheeses, honey, herbs, olives, breads and a host of other products too numerous to mention. The market opens early and closes around midday. Most people come for a bit of shopping, enjoy a coffee in one of the café bars and end up staying for lunch.

There are additional mini markets in Reillanne throughout the week: Fresh fruit and Veg (Thursday) and Fish(Friday)

Reillanne’s Café Bars

The Café du Cours and Café de la Place are located in the centre of the village. With their large terraces they are a favourite location for a morning coffee, lunch, dinner or just to enjoy a game of backgammon and a drink on a hot summers day.

Both café bars tend to fill up quickly for lunch and dinner, so booking ahead of time is advisable.

Reillanne Shops

The small village of Reillanne has one of the best butchers in the area. Run by the always smiling and chatty Stephan, and his wife Marie-France who pride themselves in sourcing their meats, paté and charcuterie locally. During the summer months they also offer all you need for a great BBQ, except the charcoal. Proxi, run by Didier and Sophie, is a small supermarket that caters to most of your other shopping needs needs.

Reillanne also has a wonderful Cave. Anne, the owner, is always able to help you with selecting from the local wines. Our Local choice is Domaine la Blaque.
